We are a Catholic faith community that reflects the teachings of Christ to people of all faiths. Serving students from Pre-K through to grade 8, we cultivate a compassionate environment that values the uniqueness of all individuals by striving to create and inspire confidence, success and the ability to achieve life-long learning as students, staff and community.

Located atop the hill in the "Painted Sky" subdivision, our school sits adjacent to beautiful forests and agricultural fields.  The school officially opened in 2011, creating a modern learning environment full of natural light, air and space.  St. Mary's is designed to facilitate student learning, and is equipped with a large Learning Commons, full sized Gym, Music Room, Construction Shop, Foods Lab, Science Lab, JH Lounge and Sensory Room.  St. Mary's is an easy walking distance to all of the amenities that Sexsmith has to offer, and has enough space for everyone!

Hosting a smaller population of nearly 200 students with about 30 staff members, we are able to truly get to know our students in small classes.  Building strong relationships allows our students to know that they are safe, cared for, and loved every day!
