Fast Friday Facts


Please take a moment to consider the following highlights of the week to come… it’ll be a busy one here at St. Mary’s!

Next week we will continue with Vocation Days, a time to reflect on discernment and God’s calling for each of us.

If you haven't had a chance to return the green intention form for next year, we kindly ask that you return it ASAP, or contact the office and let us know your families' plans for 2017- 2018 as this helps with our planning for next year.

Mon May 1- Staff meeting, 2:30pm dismissal for all students.

Mon May 1- Bus Driver Appreciation Day.  Take a moment to thank the people that help keep our students safe!

Tues May 2- Mighty Peace Day- Students from grades 5- 12 who are in good academic standing and have successfully completed public service duties will be off for a rally that focuses on “Empowering youth to make a difference in our local, national and global communities.”

Wed May 3- “Hats ON For Mental Health”- everyone is encouraged to wear a hat, and engage in conversations surrounding mental health!

Wed May 3- Bux Market- Our grade 9 class will be wrapping up their Project Based Learning unit by setting up a public market, where they will implement and run their functional businesses, selling their wares, services or creations!  This event will be open to the public as well as students throughout the school.  We are encouraged to bring cash and appetite for a variety wonderful goods!

Thurs May 4- Star Wars Day- “May the Fourth Be With You!”

Thurs May 4- Field trip for grades 1, 2 and 3 to “Safety City” in the am.

Thurs May 4- Spring Concert @ 7:00pm.  All are welcome to attend with musical performances including our choir, bands and classes!

Fri May 5- PD Day, NO SCHOOL for students.
